Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Strong preparation commonly from mathematics, computer science, economics, or analytic engineering disciplines (e.g., electrical or mechanical). Applicants without undergraduate degrees in engineering, mathematics, or the sciences may be required to remove deficiencies before graduate coursework.
IELTS: 6.5 overall; Graduate School / ORIE Academic IELTS minimum for international applicants.
TOEFL: New scale: 4 overall | Old scale: 79 overall; Graduate School minimum for international applicants on the new iBT 6-point scale.; Graduate School minimum for international applicants. ORIE preferred TOEFL is 100 iBT; average admit score cited as 106 iBT.
GRE: Required (no minimum published); ORIE requires GRE scores from all applicants; scores must be no more than five years old. No numeric minimum published.
