Academic: Bachelor's degree; Bachelor's required. Competitive preparation often reflected by GPA around 3.5+ (not a strict published cutoff on all pages).
Prerequisites: Quantitative background; Background in statistics and either game theory or microeconomics recommended to hit the ground running; free/online prep options published by the program if missing.
IELTS: 7.5 overall; Minimum overall band 7.5 for consideration. Official score to Penn LPS results service.
TOEFL: 100 overall; Non-native English speakers: minimum iBT 100 with speaking 25+ recommended/required floors per LPS. Institutional code 2986.
GRE: Required if <3 years experience; GRE required for applicants with less than three years of full-time professional experience post-bachelor's; may not be required with 3+ years experience (submit employment evidence). Confirm active cycle policy on LPS application page.
