Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Or equivalent, typically in engineering or a related quantitative field. Typical CoE graduate minimum for admission consideration.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Preparation for a concentration in DS/ML, autonomous systems, or microelectronics and integrated circuits.
IELTS: 6.5 overall; Academic IELTS (including At Home). Required if prior study does not meet an English-proficiency exemption.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | Old scale: 84 overall; CoE MEng English minima: iBT 84 before 21 Jan 2026 and 4.5 on the new scale thereafter; IELTS 6.5.
GRE: Required if undergraduate degree is from a non-US institution; Accepted but not required if the undergraduate degree is from a US institution.
