Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Earned by matriculation. Successful applicants usually have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.5/4.0, but this is not a hard requirement; Rackham minimum remains 3.0/4.0.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Strong background in computer science or a related discipline.
IELTS: 6.5 overall; Academic IELTS (including At Home). Required if prior study does not meet an English-proficiency exemption.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | Old scale: 84 overall; Rackham/CoE minimum for admission consideration. New scale applies to tests from 21 Jan 2026; old scale applies before that date.
GRE: Not considered; Neither required nor considered for Master's or PhD review.
