Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.2/4.0; Minimum GPA for Master's consideration. B.S. in engineering or the physical sciences (physics, polymer science, applied math). Closely related quantitative life-science disciplines also considered.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Engineering or physical sciences bachelor's; quantitative life-science backgrounds also considered.
IELTS: 6.5 overall; Academic IELTS (including At Home). Required if prior study does not meet an English-proficiency exemption.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | Old scale: 84 overall; Rackham/CoE minimum for admission consideration. New scale applies to tests from 21 Jan 2026; old scale applies before that date.
GRE: Not considered; General GRE is neither required nor accepted for MS or PhD.
