Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Bachelor's sufficient; master's not required. College typical expectation: GPA > 3.0 for the last 60 hours of undergraduate credit. Above thresholds does not guarantee admission.
Prerequisites: Coursework prerequisites; Strongly prefer three semesters of calculus and one semester each of linear algebra and basic statistics; some college-level mathematics background required because first-semester courses use advanced math concepts.
IELTS: 6.5 overall; UF accepted English proficiency alternative.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall (4.0 each component) | Old scale: 80 overall; UF Graduate School new-scale minimum effective Spring 2027; confirm department alignment for Fall 2027.; PHHP/UF minimum when applicable; paper 550 also listed. Code 5812.
GRE: Required (no single total minimum published); Graduate School requires GRE except possible exemption with prior US graduate/professional degree at program discretion. PHHP typical expectations: Verbal+Quantitative > 300; Writing > 3.0 with Verbal at least 150, or Writing > 3.5 if Verbal < 150. ETS code 5812.
