Academic: Bachelor's degree; Competitive admission with strong undergraduate training in the biological sciences and a demonstrated commitment to research. No hard minimum GPA published as a cutoff on the BioSci admissions pages.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Holistic review considers the nature/quality of the undergraduate program, preparation in physical sciences and mathematics, and previous laboratory and/or field research experience. No required prerequisite course list is published.
IELTS: 7.0 overall (7.0 speaking); Applicants with overall or speaking below 7 will not be considered.
TOEFL: New scale: 5.0 overall (4.5 speaking) | Old scale: 100 overall (23 speaking); BioSci publishes both TOEFL scales; applicants below total 5 or speaking 4.5 will not be considered.; International applicants only. Applicants below the published totals/speaking floors will not be considered. Speaking below 23 (old) or 4.5 (new) also not considered.
