Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Or equivalent if a letter-grade system is not used. UCLA Graduate Division minimum for regular admission.
Prerequisites: Quantitative background; At minimum linear algebra, multivariate calculus, and statistics. Programming, differential equations, numerical methods, advanced statistics, and probability are preferred.
IELTS: 7.0 overall
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | 87 overall; University minimum for exams taken on or after 21 Jan 2026.; University minimum for exams taken before 21 Jan 2026. UCLA does not accept MyBest scores.
GMAT: Optional; GMAT or GRE accepted; waiver option for extenuating circumstances.
GRE: Optional; GMAT or GRE; a waiver option exists for extenuating circumstances.
