Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0 published on the Mathematics/Applied Mathematics apply page.
Prerequisites: Coursework prerequisites; Should have completed coursework equivalent to Real Analysis (MAT 127ABC), Modern Linear Algebra (MAT 67), and Modern Algebra (MAT 150ABC). Topology (e.g. MAT 147) is strongly recommended. Students admitted with deficiencies must address them within the first academic year.
IELTS: 7.0 overall; Overall band score of at least 7 on a 9-point scale when English proficiency is required.
TOEFL: 80 overall; iBT minimum for admission when English proficiency is required. Scores below 104 (or applicants intending to TA/GSR) may require additional English coursework/testing; TOEFL Speaking 26 needed for TA eligibility.
GRE: Not considered; General GRE is not required and will not be considered. Mathematics Subject GRE is optional; if submitted, use ETS institution code 4834 and Mathematics program code 0703. Applications without Subject GRE scores receive equal consideration.
