Academic: Bachelor's degree with B average in engineering, mathematics, and science; Bachelor's in EE, computer engineering, or computer science preferred; outstanding applicants in other technical fields may be considered with makeup coursework. Acceptance by department and Graduate School required.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Electrical or computer engineering or computer science background preferred; other technical or scientific fields considered case by case.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (6.0 each component recommended); Graduate School minimum; required if prior study was not in English.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | Old scale: 80 overall; Master's applicants; tests taken on or after 21 January 2026.; Master's applicants; tests taken before 21 January 2026.
