Academic: Bachelor's degree; Admission open to students with undergraduate baccalaureates. No hard GPA cutoff published on the MSE apply page.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Preparation for graduate study in materials engineering; admission based on prior performance, experience, and recommendations.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (Speaking 6.0); IELTS overall band 6.5; School of Materials Engineering requires speaking at least 6.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.0 overall (R4.0, L3.5, S3.5, W4.0) | 80 overall (R19, L14, S21, W18); OGSPS Graduate School admission minimum for exams on or after 21 Jan 2026. MSE page publishes speaking elevation only for the prior iBT scale (speaking ≥21).; School of Materials Engineering requires TOEFL speaking at least 21 (Graduate School lists speaking 18). Exams must be within two years of application. New-scale MSE speaking elevation not separately published.
GRE: Optional; GRE no longer required.
