Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Undergraduate cumulative GPA 3.0 or equivalent required.
Prerequisites: Coursework prerequisites; Proficiency expected in principles of micro and macro (ECON 251/252), mathematics (differential calculus for M.S.; Ph.D. also multivariate and integral calculus), statistics (STAT 301/501/511), and matrix algebra. Complete by the second semester of residence if not already done.
IELTS: 7.0 overall; Agricultural Economics requires IELTS 7.0 (higher than the OGSPS 6.5 floor).
TOEFL: New scale: 4.0 overall (R4.0, L3.5, S3.5, W4.0) | 80 overall (R19, L14, S18, W18); OGSPS minimum for exams on or after 21 Jan 2026; department page currently quotes old-scale section floors.; Department of Agricultural Economics international minimum (same as OGSPS old-scale floors).
