Academic: Bachelor's degree with Norwegian C grade average; Comparable to a Norwegian bachelor's degree with minimum grade average C (generally similar to US B or UK upper second). Foreign grades individually evaluated; no conversion tables.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; 80 ECTS specialisation in health sciences or social sciences; social-science backgrounds need health-related coursework as specified on the admission page.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (6.5 each component); IELTS Academic or IELTS Online. IELTS One Skill Retake not accepted.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall (R4, L4.5, W5, S4) | Old scale: 90 overall (R19, L20, S20, W24); New scale applies to tests from 21 Jan 2026.; Required if English proficiency is not exempt. Test valid within two years of application deadline. TOEFL MyBest Scores not accepted.
