Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Preparation for graduate civil and environmental engineering in the chosen specialization.
IELTS: 7.0 overall; TGS/program minimum when IELTS is used.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | Old scale: 90 overall; TGS minimum for exams taken after 21 Jan 2026. Programs may still list a 90 iBT floor on department pages that have not restated the new scale.; Program/TGS internet-based minimum for exams taken before 21 Jan 2026. Required if prior degree was not taught in English.
GRE: Not considered; Will not require nor use GRE results for 2026 MS admission; 2027 policy not yet restated.
