Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Doctoral-only department offerings; no clinical/counseling training.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Psychology or related behavioral-science background; research experience strongly preferred.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (6.5 each component); Graduate School Academic IELTS minimum; General IELTS not accepted.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.0 overall (4.0 each component) | Old scale: 80 overall (18 each component); Graduate School minimum for tests taken on or after 21 January 2026. Speaking 5 required for TA appointment.; Graduate School minimum for tests taken before 21 January 2026. Some programs set higher minima.
GRE: Optional / Not considered by concentration; GRE not accepted for Applied Social, Human Factors & Applied Cognition, or School Psychology. Optional for Lifespan Developmental; confirm Industrial-Organizational policy.
