Academic: Bachelor's degree; Bachelor honours in mathematics or statistics; or a Graduate Diploma of Biostatistics from Monash / Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia (or equivalent); or a bachelor degree with sufficient mathematics/statistics background as published for Master of Biostatistics.
Prerequisites: Quantitative background; Mathematics or statistics honours, approved biostatistics graduate diploma, or equivalent quantitative preparation.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (6.0 each component); Monash minimum English requirement (standard Level A).
TOEFL: New scale: 4.0 overall (W4.5, L3.0, R3.5, S3.5) | 79 overall (W21, L12, R13, S18); Monash minimum English; new TOEFL iBT 1–6 scale (tests from 21 Jan 2026).; Monash minimum English; old TOEFL iBT scale (tests before 21 Jan 2026).
