Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Materials science and engineering is interdisciplinary; successful applicants also come from biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and related fields.
IELTS: 7.0 overall; International applicants.
TOEFL: New scale: 5.0 overall | Old scale: 100 overall; OGE Materials Science and Engineering minimum for the banded TOEFL scale listed alongside 100 iBT.; International applicants. OGE also lists new-scale equivalent 5 (iBT26).
GRE: Not considered; DMSE does not accept GRE scores and will not consider them in evaluation.
