Academic: Bachelor's degree with preferred GPA 3.0/4.0; U.S. bachelor's or equivalent via SOPHAS; competitive review. International transcripts may require WES ICAP.
Prerequisites: Coursework prerequisites; At least three semesters of calculus (including multivariable calculus) and one semester of linear algebra. Undergraduate probability and mathematical statistics recommended; programming experience helpful but not required.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (6.5 writing, 6.5 reading); University Graduate School minimum. Programs may require higher scores.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall (4.5 writing, 4.5 reading) | Old scale: 79 overall (W21, R19); University Graduate School minimum for tests taken on or after 21 January 2026.
