Academic: Bachelor's degree; In physics or mathematics (or transitional Diplom/Vordiplom pathways as described on the programme page). Promising applicants are invited to interview; exceptionally strong grades may waive the interview.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Preparation spanning both theoretical physics and mathematics; programme notes that applicants might also consider related LMU/TUM MSc programmes with different requirements.
GRE: Required (no minimum published); GRE Subject Test in physics or mathematics required for applicants without a Bachelor's degree from within the EEA (institution code 7263). Pandemic-era note: applications without GRE may still be considered; include GRE if available.
