Academic: Bachelor's degree; No grade cutoff. Committee reviews CS course performance, especially last two undergraduate years.
Prerequisites: Coursework prerequisites; Program of study equivalent to a BS in computer science. Applicants from other disciplines need coursework or equivalent experience in intermediate programming (C++ and Java), data structures, automata theory, computer systems fundamentals, and algorithms.
IELTS: 7.0 overall; CS MSE FAQ states TOEFL 100 / IELTS 7 as departmental minima. Whiting School also describes 100 / 7 as preferred unless a program states otherwise.
