Academic: Bachelor's degree; Four-year U.S. bachelor's or equivalent. GRE waived only for holders of a 4-year U.S. undergraduate degree with GPA 3.7 or higher.
Prerequisites: Quantitative background; Working knowledge of single-variable and multivariate calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and probability and statistics, typically via Calculus I–III, linear algebra, probability and statistics, and differential equations. Programming experience strongly preferred (Python, R, C++, SAS, or similar).
IELTS: 7.0 overall (6.5 L/R/S, 5.5 W); Institute IELTS Academic minimum. Some programs set higher overall scores.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall (R/L/W 4, S 3.5) | 90 overall (19 each component); Institute minimum for TOEFL iBT after January 2026. MyBest scores are not accepted.; Institute minimum for tests taken before January 2026. MyBest scores are not accepted.
GMAT: Accepted alternative; GMAT accepted in place of GRE (Institute code HWK-54-37).
