Academic: Bachelor's degree; Previous degree in engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. No published hard GPA cutoff.
Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Most admitted students hold electrical and/or computer engineering degrees. Applicants from other engineering, CS, mathematics, or physical sciences are eligible; undergraduate ECE preparation is encouraged. Engineering technology (EET) or other non-listed degrees must first earn a B.S. or M.S. in an eligible discipline.
IELTS: 7.0 overall (6.5 L/R/S, 5.5 W); Institute IELTS Academic minimum. Some programs set higher overall scores.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall (R/L/W 4, S 3.5) | 90 overall (19 each component); Institute minimum for TOEFL iBT after January 2026. MyBest scores are not accepted.; Institute minimum for tests taken before January 2026. MyBest scores are not accepted.
GRE: Optional; GRE no longer required; scores considered if submitted but are not a primary factor.
