Prerequisites: Relevant academic background; Undergraduate preparation appropriate for graduate mechanical engineering; the department seeks highly qualified applicants for its graduate programs.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (R/L 6.5, S/W 6.0); Required for non-native English speakers when IELTS is used. Same waiver as TOEFL.
TOEFL: 84 overall (R22, L22, S18, W22); Required for non-native English speakers. Waived after four years in an in-residence undergraduate program in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).
GRE: Not considered; Official GRE scores from ETS are not accepted.
