Academic: NQF level 8 qualification (Honours or Postgraduate Diploma); Non-South African qualifications may need equivalence verification. RPL route available if NQF 8 not held.
Prerequisites: Professional experience; Minimum age 25; minimum three years relevant work experience. RPL applicants typically need substantially more experience (often 7+ years depending on prior NQF level), including management/professional experience.
IELTS: 7.0 overall (6.0 each component); UCT GSB requirement. Required if English is not the home language or prior degree was not taught in English.
TOEFL: 88 overall (L19, W19, R20, S22); UCT GSB iBT minimum; Admissions Board may also consider essays, assessments, and interview for proficiency.
GMAT: Required (GMAT, Executive Assessment, or GRE); Official score from GMAT, Executive Assessment, or GRE required; no minimum score published on the entrance page.
GRE: Accepted alternative; GRE accepted as an alternative standardised assessment to GMAT or Executive Assessment.
