Academic: Bachelor's degree; GPA 3.0/4.0 recommended; No minimum GPA required; department recommends undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Prerequisites: Computer science background; Strong background expected in algorithms, computer systems, programming languages, and theory. Gaps in one or two areas may be addressed with prerequisite courses after admission.
IELTS: 7.0 overall recommended; GRS recommended overall band score if English proficiency proof is required.
TOEFL: New scale: 5.0 overall recommended | Old scale: 100 overall recommended; GRS recommended minimum for the 1–6 scale from Jan 2026, if English proficiency proof is required.; GRS recommended minimum if English proficiency proof is required. Tests before 21 Jan 2026.
