Academic: Bachelor's degree; Bachelor's degree required for the online part-time professional MICS (27 units).
Prerequisites: Technical preparation; Foundational programming (e.g. Python/C), technology foundations, and data literacy expected; bridge coursework may be required if gaps exist.
IELTS: 7.0 overall; IELTS Academic minimum overall 7.0 when required.
TOEFL: 90 overall; TOEFL when English proficiency required; Grad Division / iSchool floors (90 on prior 120-scale for recent cycles; dual new scale after Jan 2026 for later cohorts).
GMAT: Optional; Optional alternative standardized test.
GRE: Optional; GRE/GMAT optional; not required.
