Academic: Bachelor's or master's degree with GPA 3.5/4.0; Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 in the last 60 hours of the first bachelor's degree program, or 3.50 in an applicable master's degree program. SCAI also lists Industrial Engineering PhD GPA expectation of 3.5 or higher.
Prerequisites: Quantitative background; Knowledge in calculus is required for success in Industrial Engineering graduate study; deficiency coursework may be assigned.
IELTS: 7.0 overall; Program page IELTS minimum when English proficiency proof is required.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | Old scale: 90 overall; Program page: TOEFL iBT 4.5 on the new scale when English proficiency proof is required.; Program page: TOEFL iBT 90 if taken before 21 January 2026 when English proficiency proof is required.
GRE: Required (no minimum published); GRE required for Fulton Schools PhD programs; ASU does not accept the GRE General Test at home.
