Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Undergraduate degree in physics, engineering physics, geophysics, or equivalent with admission GPA at least 3.0 on last 60 units (or last two years), or equivalent.
Prerequisites: Physics / geophysics background; Suitable graduates in physics, engineering physics, geophysics, or equivalent programs.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (6.0 each band); GPS Academic IELTS minimum.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall (4.5 each section) | Old scale: 90 overall (21 each section); GPS English Language Requirement (department cites GPS minimum). New scale applies to tests written on or after 21 Jan 2026.; GPS English Language Requirement (department cites GPS minimum). Old scale applies to tests written before 21 Jan 2026.
