Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.3/4.0; Four-year undergraduate degree with strong background in mathematics, physics and/or statistics; admission GPA at least 3.3 on last 60 units (or last two years), or equivalent.
Prerequisites: Quantitative background; Strong background in mathematics, physics, and/or statistics.
IELTS: 7.0 overall (6.0 each band); Department minimum IELTS Academic. Scores must be less than two years old.
TOEFL: New scale: 5 overall (4.5 each section) | Old scale: 100 overall (22 each section); Department ELP. New scale applies to tests written on or after 21 Jan 2026.; Department ELP. Old scale applies to tests written before 21 Jan 2026.
GRE: Optional; GRE General and Mathematics scores may be submitted but are not required.
