Academic: Bachelor's degree with GPA 3.0/4.0; Relevant undergraduate degree with an average of 3.0 in the last two years of undergraduate or graduate work at UAlberta, or equivalent.
Prerequisites: Relevant earth / atmospheric sciences background; Background appropriate to an EAS thesis topic within faculty research expertise.
IELTS: 6.5 overall (6.0 each band); Equivalent approved GPS English examinations accepted alongside TOEFL.
TOEFL: New scale: 4.5 overall | Old scale: 90 overall; Department ELP (overall scores published; section minima not stated on the graduate-programs page).
